A little about Cheri.
Cheri is a lifelong yoga and meditation practitioner who believes in the healing power of mindfulness practices. She completed her first yoga teacher training in 2002 and started volunteering at her local Senior Center, where she introduced the benefits of mindfulness practices to an underserved community. Cheri's dedication to helping others find solace and strength through yoga became evident as she witnessed its positive impact on the seniors she worked with. The community developed during these sessions was equally enriching for Cheri and her students.
Wanting to make a broader impact in her community, Cheri earned specialized certifications in Yin Yoga, Menopause Yoga, and Senior Yoga. Continuously seeking to grow her knowledge and offerings, she now teaches Yin Yoga and guided meditation and leads women's group classes and workshops. These small groups support and inspire women in midlife and beyond in a safe, nurturing community.
Cheri is passionate about teaching accessible, trauma-informed, and supportive yoga to everyone. She believes there is a type of yoga and a yoga teacher for anyone who wants to practice. You can practice with Cheri locally in Ashland, OR, or try her online classes.
