Gentle Yoga 50+ 

This Hatha Yoga class is a gentle, slow-paced, and supportive practice designed specifically to improve mobility, strength, balance, stress-management and breath awareness. This is a full body practice that includes floor and standing poses.

Weekly - Mondays & Wednesdays

10:30 - 11:30

Yin Yoga 

Regularly scheduled Yin Yoga classes and workshops are on pause this season. I’ll still be sharing the practice occasionally as a sub at the YMCA.

A little about Cheri.

Cheri is the owner of Cheri Yoga and teaches yoga in and around Ashland, Oregon. She is a lifelong practitioner of yoga and meditation, who believes in the healing power of mindfulness practices. She completed her first yoga teacher training in 2002 and soon began volunteering at her local Senior Center, where she introduced the benefits of mindfulness practices to an underserved community. Cheri's dedication to helping others find solace and strength through yoga became evident as she witnessed its positive impact on the seniors she worked with. 

Wanting to make a broader impact in her community, Cheri earned over 300 accredited teaching hours in Hatha Yoga as well as specialized certifications in Yin Yoga, Menopause Yoga, Senior Yoga, and Accessible meditation. Cheri teaches weekly Gentle Yoga and Yin Yoga classes. She also teaches a monthly 90-minute Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra class. 

Cheri is passionate about teaching accessible, trauma-informed, and supportive yoga to everyone. She believes there is a type of yoga and a yoga teacher for anyone who wants to practice. You can practice with Cheri locally in Ashland, OR, or enjoy a free guided meditation on Insight Timer.
